What are Small Groups?

A Small Group is a gathering of people from our church that get together weekly to share life and support one another. Gathering weekly for fellowship and accountability, study and prayer, good times and tears. Day Star Ministries Small Groups are an essential expression of our church’s mission. At the heart of the Small Groups ministry is the desire to see a community of believers who worship Jesus, love one another, and embody the mission of Day Star to make disciples and reach the lost. God has called us to a continuous lifestyle of worship and relationship with Himself, which is cultivated and nurtured within the body of Christ.

What’s the purpose of a small group?

CONNECT through Community: Maturing believers are growing in community with other believers through spending time together, encouraging one another and supporting one another.

GROW through Discipleship: Maturing followers are continually pursuing an intimate relationship with God.

SERVE through Outreach: Maturing believers are reaching out to embrace people with grace and truth so that they also might have an intimate relationship with God.
